[02 Jul 2007|10:27pm] what an amazing weekend. I love seeing my family and chilling with my cousins. It just keeps getting better and better, I hung out with my cousin's friends at his grad party and we all had a ridiculous time. I realizied alot of things about myself in terms of what I want in life and what I am looking for. It is so different than high school. I really want to go back to PA at least once again over holidays...I'll try to figure it out. I am obsessed with being successful in life. I get so overwhelmed by it sometimes. There are so many thoughts in my head I feel like I am overloading. There are so many things I'm not finding in this town. There is nothing satisfying, it is infertile and it will suficate you if you're here too long. Coming back just makes me realize it more and more. I'm not even sure what I am going to do with my life. Too many options. on the count of 6 everybody overdose

[25 Jun 2007|11:03am] so, yesterday I was doing a quiz on my knowledge about alcohol...things like legal driving limits, drinking ages, drink ratio (i.e. 1 beer = 1 glass of wine = 1 mixed drink,a dn I came across a weird finding. Apparently the higher someone's education the more likely they are to drink. I'm not saying like drinking like an alcoholic, but just have drinks with dinner or whatnot - light to moderate drinking. so I while a work and bored out of my mind I decided to check this out. Here are the statistics I found, mind you they are old..1992 but nonetheless, enlightening. http://www.niaaa.nih.gov/Resources/DatabaseResources/QuickFacts/AlcoholConsumption/dkpat17.htm as well, the higher your education the less likely you are to abuse alcohol. and on this note, today's whatisstephenharperreading.com wasn't as good prior weeks'. Usually it is so insightful, today I felt it lacked real explanation, undeveloped. Perhaps Yann was rushed, who knows! 2 weeks until the next one! how exciting! I like work I have my own cubicle and today I brought my loose leaf teas with me and put them in the drawer, plus a cup now I can have tea whenver I want! soph weekend was amazing. those kids rule! I cannot wait for second year, started picking my courses. I am taking a latin and greek roots in english class to get me ready for my GRE and improve my vocab/understanding of words. 32 days until new HP book. I have a fiddle lesson wednesday! and I am getting fiddle lessons while I am in Ireland. I think my dad is more excited about this than I am. haha. I am going into Dublin to look at Universities, and we're asking about my education getting paid for because I am a citizen and my parents own land there.
